At MIËIH, we believe that every design should resonate deeply with the creator's emotions, just like a cherished possession.
MIËIH /MEE-ay/ carries a profound meaning - a fusion and an acronym play of "miei," which translates to "my" in a sentimental context, underscoring the deeply personal connection we forge with every creation; and "huez(s)," that represents the myriad shades and tones of our emotions, ideas, and inspirations.
Our designs seamlessly fuse the timeless allure of the past with a modern interpretation, embody a delicate equilibrium of contrasting elements, merge the boldness of masculinity with the grace of femininity, and harmonize structure with fluidity.

OUR STORY
Founded in 2021 by Miranda Hung-Perez in Tahiti, French Polynesia, Miëih is rooted in the celebration of style, confidence, and femininity that empowers women. We stand by our commitment to exquisite design and uncompromising quality, rejecting the notion that style must come at the expense of sustainability.
Miranda's journey began amidst the whirlwind of the dynamic fast fashion industry. Her six-year tenure as a womenswear designer at renowned international brands started to clash with her learnings at IFA Paris, which were centered around haute couture values and techniques.
The memories of her early days, steeped in the traditions of high fashion served as a beacon of inspiration—be it the style analysis of influential designers where the cut and the fit were integrated deeply into each design detail and the meaning behind dressing women; or the restless hours spent draping on mannequins to achieve a perfect fit.
Yet the relentless pursuit of trends at the expense of quality, the allure of quick turnovers and cost-cutting measures ultimately left a bitter taste. The twisted seams, emblematic of hurried or cheap production, became a poignant reminder of the industry's disregard for longevity and sustainability.
Reminiscing about her school days with the Haut-Couture approach to create and design, as well as craving for a change in the fashion industry; along with her sister Jessie, they embarked on the adventure to bring their visions to life through Miëih.
A reflection of the founders' backgrounds and experiences, through Miëih, they brings together modern sophistication and precise construction, with a touch of the island laidback resonating with the Polynesian kindness that inspired the brand.
OUR COMMITMENT
Our design ethos is rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the artistry that comes from combining traditional and contemporary techniques.
From the outset, we select eco-responsible fibers, ensuring that each material aligns with our values of sustainability and durability.
Our design journey unfolds at our headquarters in Tahiti, where each concept is brought to life and rigorously tested. By conducting the design developing in-house, we not only fine-tune every detail but also minimize environmental impacts such as sample waste and carbon footprints, often associated with outsourced sampling processes.
Once our designs are refined to perfection, we proudly collaborate with a female-owned manufacturer in Europe, producing in small batches to ensure that each garment is expertly crafted to the highest standard.
From sourcing materials to production processes, ethical practices are at the forefront of everything we do. Our commitment to transparency and fairness extends to every aspect of our supply chain.
